Traveling Bags Puts Used Luggage to Good Use
Traveling Bags, a specialty and luggage repair store in New Berlin, WI, is proud of its ongoing donation program utilizing repurposed luggage. If a donated bag is in good shape and can still be used, it is cleaned, repaired, serviced and donated to a local women’s shelter or to a program which helps foster children. If the bag can’t be restored complete but is functional, it is donated to organizations planning to take medicine, school supplies, clothes, etc. to areas in need of help. And those bags which can’t be used for either of the above are donated to local law enforcement agencies to aid in the training of canines used to find drugs, bombs, contraband, as well as for special classes and events surrounding these trained police dogs.
