Stephen Joseph Reemphasizes the Incredible Power of Teamwork

For almost 40 years, the Stephen Joseph Company, a woman owned business, has drawn inspiration from women and kids who love to travel and play, creating products made to last through life’s journeys. And in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have worked hard to support the Stephen Joseph Family, as well as the Lubbock, TX, community in a number of ways. A Stephen Joseph Help Fund supports employees in need along with flexible work policies and a determination to keep their entire team working, without layoffs or furloughs. Masks were made out of repurposed fabrics which were sold locally and donated to first responders. “Strong Series” t-shirts were created and printed, which helped to raise thousands of dollars for Meals on Wheels and South Plains Food Bank, as well as supporting their sales reps’ communities nationally. Consequently, in December 2020, Stephen Joseph was able to donate over $70,000 in retail value to Toys for Tots, $10,000 to Meals on Wheels, and over $9,000 to Impact 6, a nonprofit that offers mentoring and opportunities to youth in under-resourced communities. And last but not least, Stephen Joseph updated their Dog-day Fridays to every day of the week so their furry friends could help keep spirits high.
