Prima USA Travel Donates Damaged Luggage to Los Angeles World Airport Police
Since 2020, Prima USA Travel has been donating damaged suitcases and travel bags to the Los Angeles World Airport Police. These suitcases and travel bags are used to train their K9 unit which specializes in sniffing explosives. The need for the suitcases arose because of the decrease in travel during the pandemic, which led to fewer damaged or stored suitcases that the K9 Team could use to train the dogs. Consequently, they began to reach out to luggage manufacturers in the area for help. Prima USA gladly responded maintaining that donating the damaged luggage to the Airport Police K9 unit not only diverts it from becoming a landfill but also gives it a new purpose that may help save lives.
