More California Proposition 65 Notices Issued

January 18, 2018 – New “60-day” notices have been issued alleging that brands and retailers sold duffel bagstravel setssports pouches and bags, wallets, purses (Notice 1Notice 2), handbags, outdoor bags (Notice 1Notice 2Notice 3Notice 4, https://oag.ca.gov/prop65/60-Day-Notice-2018-00020), smartphone casessmartphone dry bagssmartphone charging setslaptop skinscosmetic bagsluggage tags, and umbrellas in California that contained 1,1-Dichloroethane, Bisphenol A (BPA), Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) and/or di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in violation of a California law known as Proposition 65 (Prop 65). The notices serve as intent to bring lawsuits against the recipients of the notices that sold these products.
