More California Proposition 65 Notices Issued

January 18, 2018 – New “60-day” notices have been issued alleging that brands and retailers sold duffel bags, travel sets, sports pouches and bags, wallets, purses (Notice 1, Notice 2), handbags, outdoor bags (Notice 1, Notice 2, Notice 3, Notice 4,, smartphone cases, smartphone dry bags, smartphone charging sets, laptop skins, cosmetic bags, luggage tags, and umbrellas in California that contained 1,1-Dichloroethane, Bisphenol A (BPA), Diisononyl phthalate (DINP) and/or di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in violation of a California law known as Proposition 65 (Prop 65). The notices serve as intent to bring lawsuits against the recipients of the notices that sold these products.
